Privacy

• Your account: your email, your name, and your password, stored only as a hash.
• The listings you submit: your site's address, name, texts and icon, and your email so we can tell you about the review and the badge.
• Visits: we count page views with Umami, hosted on our own server. It uses no cookies and keeps no profile of you.

To run your account, review and publish your listings, and email you about them: confirming your address, our review decision, and a missing badge. No newsletter, no ads, and we never sell or share your data for marketing.

Only what the site needs: a session cookie while you're signed in, and your light or dark choice, kept in your browser. No tracking cookies, so no banner.

Our server is at Hetzner, in Germany. Cloudflare carries the traffic and protects the site. Plunk sends our emails. The badge you put on your site loads from our server, and we don't track its viewers.

Your account and listings stay until you delete them or ask us to. Backups of the database are kept for seven days.

You can see, correct or delete your data at any time. Edit or delete a listing from your dashboard; for anything else, including deleting your account, write to hello@tastedir.com. If you think we got something wrong, you can also complain to your data protection authority (the CNIL in France).
